Why don't you change the skid shoe area to a rounded edge so it would glide over obstacles and the ground without catching on everything? I'm shopping for a new flail, have been since last year doing research. I wondered why all your videos were 6-10 years old. I was hoping to see a V2 and here it is, but the skid plate shape has me a bit concerned. ?

Seems interesting, but how would you possibly tell what your sand/gravel to cement ratio is if you are just scooping up a random pile like that. Seems like it could vary quite a bit from mix to mix. I could see how this might work for pouring pier footings, but for flat work where the surface is visible, consistency is key. Like who's to say you are scooping up 300 pounds or 500 pounds of gravel/sand?

I bought one of these and it is even better then they portray on the video. I am constantly amazed at how tough this unit is. Cutting 6” material is no problem. I often cut 10”-12” trees with no problem.
